Alan James Edwards was a dental surgeon from Birmingham. He was born on 22 August 1925. He gained his licentiate in dental surgery in 1948 and his fellowship of the Faculty of Dental Surgery of the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 1954. In 1969 he passed his diploma in dental public health.
Married to Jean, Edwards died on 17 August 2008 at the age of 82. His last known address was in Birmingham.
