Details
Raymond John Fowler was a dental surgeon who lived in Sutton Coldfield. He was born in London on 31 January 1924 and grew up in Bradford. In the 1939 England and Wales Register his father, Stanley Fowler, is listed as a works manager and chief analytical chemist in a paint works; his mother was Irene Phyllis Fowler née Biggs. He studied dentistry at Leeds and qualified in 1945. He gained his fellowship of the Faculty of Dental Surgery at the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 1951. In 1956 he married Rosemary R Smith in Exeter, Devon. Fowler died in June 2004 in Birmingham. He was 80.
