Details
Terence Cuthbert Anthony O’Neil was a dental surgeon from Rotherham, South Yorkshire. He was born in Rotherham on 2 February 1928, the son of Edward Bennett O’Neil, a clerk in a labour exchange, and Joyce Patience O’Neil née Gwinnell. He studied dentistry at Sheffield University and qualified in 1950. In December 1951 he was admitted into the Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn as a trainee barrister. He became a fellow of the Faculty of Dental Surgery of the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 1973. In 1953 he married Iris Bell. They had a son, Dominic. O’Neil died on 11 August 2011. He was 83. His last-known address was in Rotherham.
