Details
Matriculated from St John’s College, Cambridge, in 1868, and graduated BA after appearing as first on the list of Junior Optimes in the Mathematical Tripos of 1872. He then entered the London Hospital, and after qualification held the posts of Assistant House Surgeon at the Poplar Hospital and then of House Physician and House Surgeon at the London Hospital, 1877-1878. He was next appointed Senior Resident Medical Officer at the Royal Free Hospital; after holding this post for a short time he became Junior Assistant Medical Officer at the County and Borough Asylum, Powick, Worcester. He travelled during the last few years of his life, and died at Las Palmas in 1901. Publications: “Case of Locomotor Ataxy with Unusual Visual Troubles.” – *Med.
