Educated at St Bartholomew's Hospital and practised at Millbrook, Southampton. He was Surgeon to the 4th Administrative Battalion, Hampshire Rifle Volunteers, and at the time of his death President of the Southampton Medical Society. He died at Millbrook on August 19th, 1885.
