Details
Educated at Owens College, Manchester, where he was Assistant Demonstrator of Physiology, and at St Bartholomew's Hospital. He was at one time Clinical Assistant at the Royal Westminster Ophthalmic Hospital and the Central London Throat and Ear Hospital, and Acting Surgeon at the Western General Dispensary. He then practised at Northenden Road, Sale, Cheshire, where he was Public Vaccinator and Medical Officer to the Ashton-on-Mersey District of the Altrincham Union. By the year 1890 he was practising at 101 Piccadilly, Manchester, and then moved to 296 Upper Brook Street, Manchester. Returning to Sale at the close of his life, he practised at 83 Marslands Road. He died at Sale in 1902.
