Details
The second son of the Rev Isaac Gillam, Vicar of Northleigh and Incumbent of St Michael's, Liverpool. He studied at Guy's Hospital, and was for a time Medical Superintendent of the Aspall Hall Asylum. He afterwards practised at Crondall, Hampshire, where he was parochial medical officer to the Crondall District of the Hartley Wintney Union. Six years before his death he 'ruptured a blood-vessel', fell into ill health, retired, and died at South Lodge, Ham, on September 21st, 1872. He left a widow and adopted daughter.
