Details
Studied at University College Hospital and began to practise at Milton, near Gravesend, Kent, where he was District Medical Officer of the Gravesend and Milton Union and Surgeon to the Dispensary. Between 1855 and 1863 he removed to 25 King's Street, Gravesend, then to 3 Woodville, Gravesend, and about 1875 was Medical Officer of Health and Analyst for the Borough, Surgeon to the Infirmary or Hospital, and Examining Surgeon under the CD Acts. Later he was a Certifying Factory Surgeon and member of the Society of Analysts whilst continuing as District Medical Officer of the Gravesend and Milton Union. He died at Amicitia, Gravesend, on October 11th, 1903.
