Was gazetted Hospital Assistant to the Forces on Dec 1st, 1825, Assistant Surgeon to the 1st Foot on November 16th, 1826, to the 12th Dragoons on Oct 8th, 1830, and to the Coldstream Guards on March 15th, 1838. He was promoted Surgeon to the same on April 14th, 1843, and Surgeon Major on September 2nd, 1845. He retired on half pay on April 4th, 1851, and died at Broadstairs on or before June 5th, 1882.
