Details
Studied at the Exeter and St Bartholomew's Hospitals. Entering the Navy, he served on HMS *Hydra* and HMS *Vesuvius* on West India Stations during 1860-1864. During the yellow fever epidemic in 1864 he was attached to the Royal Naval Hospital, Bermuda. From 1865-1867 he was Assistant Surgeon at Greenwich Hospital and the Royal Hospital Schools. After that he practised at 462 King's Road, Chelsea, and died there on August 4th, 1885.
