Details
The son of Charles Lestourgeon and was born at Edmonton, Middlesex. He was educated at Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, and at the age of 16 was admitted a pensioner at Trinity College, Cambridge, on May 21st, 1824. He was elected a scholar of the College in 1827, and graduated BA as 15th Wrangler in 1828, taking his MA in 1833. He entered St Bartholomew's Hospital, and afterwards practised in Cambridge, where he was Surgeon, and latterly Consulting Surgeon, to Addenbrooke's Hospital. He died at his residence in Trinity Street, Cambridge on February 22nd, 1891.
