Details
:
The eldest son of William Orton, of Narborough Hall, near Leicester. He was educated at St Bartholomew's Hospital, where he was House Surgeon. Subsequently he was House Surgeon at the Liverpool Royal Infirmary. He then practised at 30 Lower Phillimore Place, Kensington, in partnership with his neighbour, James W Turner (qv). In the eighties he moved to 7 Campden Hill Road, Kensington, where he died on April 6th, 1920.
