Details
The third son of W A Parkinson, of Hawera, New Zealand. He was educated at St Thomas's Hospital, where he was Casualty Officer and House Surgeon. He was then House Physician to the General Lying-in Hospital, York Road, joined the Government Medical Service (Colonial) and was appointed Surgical Specialist to the West African Medical Staff, Nigeria. He died of pneumonic plague at Lagos on October 22nd, 1926. His last English address was at Lealholm, Branksome Road, St Leonards-on-Sea.
