Studied at St Bartholomew's and at University College Hospitals, and then practised at Haverfordwest, where he was Surgeon to the Haverfordwest Infirmary, also Medical Officer to the Union and Workhouse, and Surgeon to the Great Western Railway Provident Society. He enjoyed a large practice in the town and throughout Pembrokeshire, was connected by marriage with many of the leading families, was a Magistrate of the Borough and Churchwarden of St Mary's Church. He died of a sudden heart attack on March 19th, 1863, at his house in Market Street, Haverfordwest.
