Details
After matriculating at the University of Bonn, studied at St Bartholomew's Hospital, and practised at 1 Raglan Circus, Weston-super-Mare, where he was Surgeon to the West of England Sanatorium. He was a voluminous writer on antiquarian, archaeological, and medical subjects, including medical folklore and spiritualism. He retired to Northumberland Lodge, Cheltenham, and died there on September 3rd, 1890.
