Details
:
Son of John Pughe (qv); studied at Liverpool Royal Infirmary and School of Medicine, where he became Assistant Demonstrator of Anatomy, House Physician, and Clinical Surgical Assistant at the Infirmary. Later he was Surgeon to the St Paul's Eye and Ear Hospital, Liverpool, and Assistant Medical Officer to the Ladies' Charity and Lying-in Hospital. He was also a Member of the Liverpool Medical Institute, and Medical Examiner to several Insurance Societies. He practised at 54 Catherine Street and at 15 St Paul's Square, Liverpool, and died on August 23rd, 1892.
