Details
The son of a well-known surgeon practising at Bishops Stortford, Essex. He was educated at the Parsonage of his native place and then at University College, London, where he joined the Medical Department and afterwards was a Life Governor of the Hospital. He practised at 14 Upper Brook Street for over sixty years, and the best years of his life were devoted to a very large obstetric practice. He was a Fellow of the Obstetrical Society and a member of the British Medical Association. He died on February 22nd, 1902.
