Details
Educated at Trinity Medical College, Toronto, where he graduated 1886, Nichols served as house surgeon at Guy's Hospital and took the Conjoint qualification in 1899, proceeding to the Fellowship at the end of 1901. He then went back to Canada, where he practised at Winnipeg. He examined in surgery at Manitoba Medical College, Winnipeg, from 1908, and was elected president of the Winnipeg Clinical Society. He was a member of the American Association of Gynecology. Nichols died in Winnipeg early in 1923, of cerebral haemorrhage, at the age of 63.
