Details
Born at Winnipeg, Canada in 1888 son of F Ferguson Kerr MD, he was educated at Edinburgh University, King's College, London, and Owens College, Manchester, qualifying in 1910. He served as house surgeon in the University wards at the Royal Infirmary, Edinburgh, and then settled in practice in Manchester, with consulting rooms at 30 Ann Street and later at 3 St James's Square. He was surgeon to the Victoria Memorial Jewish Hospital. During the first world war he served as a Surgeon-Lieutenant in the Royal Navy. He lived at North Alderley, Cheshire, but died at Cannes on 31 May 1956.
