Details
Educated at Calcutta University, Grant Medical College, Bombay, and University College Hospital, London, he served as resident medical officer at the Public Dispensary, Leeds and the Guest Hospital, Dudley, and as deputy medical superintendent of Islington Infirmary. He was commissioned in the Indian Medial Service and promoted to the rank of Honorary Captain. Returning to Bombay he was assistant to the Port Health Officer, and subsequently surgeon to the Gokuldas Tejpal Hospital. He died at Bombay on 11 July 1950, having practised at 10 New Queen's Road. Publications: A note on spinal anaesthesia. *Lancet* 1916, 1, 1123.
