Details
Elphick graduated in medicine from Sydney University in 1955. He came to England for postgraduate study and took the Fellowship in December 1964. After three months (January to March 1965) as resident surgical officer at King Edward VII Hospital, Windsor, he went abroad. He was accidentally killed at Abadan, Persia in the autumn of 1965 aged about 33.
