Details
Little is known of the career of William Adamson Gray. He read medicine at Edinburgh University and won the Gifford Edmunds Prize in 1931. He practised as an ophthalmic surgeon at Queen Mary's Hospital in London's East End. Around 1950 he went to Nova Scotia and then for many years lived in Toronto, Canada, where he is thought to have died in 1990.
