Details
Major General Brian Livesey was an ENT surgeon at Queen Elizabeth Military Hospital, Woolwich and an honorary surgeon to HM The Queen. He was born on 17 December 1928 and studied medicine at Bristol University medical school. He qualified in 1952. He gained his diploma in laryngology and otology in 1958 and became a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons in 1965. He was a former commandant and postgraduate dean of the Royal Army Medical College and a chairman of the Isle of Wight Health Authority. Livesey died on 15 November 2016. He was 87.
