Details
Scott Charlton qualified MB, BS Sydney in 1933 and became resident medical officer to the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, Sydney, in 1934. He served in the second world war as a Lieutenant-Colonel in the RAMC and eventually became honorary neurosurgeon to the Sydney Hospital and the Prince Henry Hospital. He was a member of the AMA and the BMA and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Medicine. He may have ceased to practise in the early 1970s as his name disappears from the *Australian Medical Directory* between 1972 and 1974. He died on 13 October 1988.
