Details
:
Born in New Zealand he was educated at the Otago Medical School, Dunedin, and made postgraduate studies at the London Hospital. He was surgeon to the Dunedin Hospital in the South Island, but moved to Auckland in the North Island where also he was surgeon to the Hospital. In the later part of his life he practised at New Plymouth on the west coast of the North Island, where he died in June 1960 aged about eighty.
