Details:
Entered as a student at the Newcastle-upon-Tyne School of Medicine and Surgery in the Session 1834-1835. He was elected Lecturer on Anatomical Demonstrations and Surgical Anatomy in the College of Medicine and Practical Science, and was Surgeon to the Newcastle Dispensary and the Eastern Dispensary. He died at Newcastle-upon-Tyne on May 18th, 1857, a little before the union of the rival schools in that year. (See Fife, Sir John.)
