John Edward Reimer was a surgeon in New South Wales, Australia. He passed the fellowship of the college in 1957. In 2014 he published a book on medical education in New South Wales entitled *Becoming a surgeon and the Sydney Hospital Clinical School* (Nannup, WA, MBS press, 2014).
He died on 10 April 2017.
