Details:
Norman Everard Goodwin was an orthopaedic surgeon whose last known address was in Southampton, Hampshire. He was born on 6 January 1926 and studied medicine at the University of Cape Town, qualifying in 1949.
He went to the UK for further training, as an orthopaedic registrar at Hammersmith Hospital in London, and gained his FRCS in 1956.
He returned to South Africa in the late 1950s and was an orthopaedic registrar at the Groote Schuur Hospital in Cape Town.
Goodwin died in 2007.
