Brian James Michael Parkins was a dental surgeon who had a practice in Portland Place, London. He was born in London on 1 November 1938. His father was Ronald Parkins; his mother was Adelaide F Parkins née Percival. He attended St Ignatius College, London and went on to study dentistry. He gained his fellowship of the Faculty of Dental Surgery of the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 1966. He was also a member of the American Dental Society of London and the American Dental Society of Europe. He married Jill Dawson in 1966. They divorced in 1980. Parkins died on 24 March 2019 at the age of 81. His last-known address was in Bath, Somerset.
