Alexander Souter Davies was a consultant oral and maxillofacial surgeon at Derriford Hospital, Plymouth. He was born on 6 March 1939, the son of John Wilberforce Davies, a merchant seaman, and Doris Christina Davies née Souter.
He gained his fellowship of the Faculty of Dental Surgeons of the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 1966.
Davies died on 15 June 2007 at Saltash, Cornwall. He was 68.
