Details:
Barry Francis Hemphill was a dental surgeon from Richmond, London. He was born in New South Wales, Australia, in 1934. He studied dentistry at the University of Sydney and then went to the UK for postgraduate study, gaining his fellowship of the Faculty of Dental Surgery of the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 1963. He subsequently became a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons. In 1970 he qualified in medicine.
Hemphill died on 10 October 2014.
