Details:
Robert Cleaver Chapman was a dental surgeon from Belfast. He was born on 3 May 1918 in Lisburn, County Antrim, the son of William Chapman and Sarah Elizabeth Hughes Chapman. He studied dentistry and then medicine at Queen’s University Belfast and gained his LDS in 1939 and his MB BCh BAO in 1941. He became a fellow of the Faculty of Dental Surgery at the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 1953. He was married to Thomasina Nola (née Hynes), a nurse. Chapman died on 2 January 2012. He was 93.
