Details:
Eric Siddons Foster was an orthodontist from Lincoln. He gained his LDS from Sheffield in 1942 and a year later joined the Royal Army Dental Corps as a lieutenant. He was promoted to captain in 1947. He gained his higher dental diploma in 1949 and became a fellow of the Faculty of Dental Surgery of the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 1955 and of the Faculty of Dental Surgery of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 1969. He also passed the diploma in orthodontics.
Foster died in May 2009.
