Robin John Simpson was a dental surgeon who lived in Woking, Surrey. He was born in Stratford, New Zealand on 16 July 1930. He studied dentistry and qualified with a bachelor of dental surgery degree in 1954.
He was initially a dental surgeon in Auckland. He gained his fellowship of the Faculty of Dental Surgery of the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 1958.
He was married to Rosalind Annette. They had three children – John, Wendy and Peter. Simpson died on 31 May 2004 at the age of 73.
