Educated at the Universities of Dublin and Edinburgh. He practised at Falcaragh, Letterkenny, Co Donegal, being at the time of his death a JP for the county, Admiralty Surgeon and Agent, and a Corresponding Member of the Dublin Natural History Society. He died at Falcaragh on March 15th, 1877.

Practised at Lower Tulse Hill, Brixton, SW, and died at Heidelberg on June 13th, 1861.

Practised at 51 Strand, WC, and died there on February 6th, 1866. He was a member of the Royal Institution and of the Medical Society of London.

Received his professional training at St Bartholomew's Hospital, and practised at Prescot, and then (1847) at Mill Lane, West Derby, Liverpool. He was Surgeon to the Liverpool Cholera Hospital, and later (1858) was Surgeon to the Liverpool Workhouse, Infirmary, and Fever Hospital, his address being
