Born on May 18th, 1808, the son of J Bulley, who came of an old Berkshire family long connected with Reading. His mother was a Blagrave, another ancient Reading family, which produced a regicide, distinguished mathematicians, and for three centuries the Reading Members of Parliament. Bulley's father

Was at one time Surgeon to the South Staffordshire General Hospital, and then practised at Wolverhampton. He was a Fellow of the Royal Medico-Chirurgical Society, and contributed various papers to the Lancet and Provincial Medical Journal. He died of diphtheria at Wolverhampton on May 29th, 1859.

Educated at St Bartholomew's and University College Hospitals, and in Paris. He practised at Eagle House, Blandford, Dorsetshire, where he was Medical Officer to the Union Workhouse. He died in retirement at 1 Maida Vale, London, on October 10th, 1887. His photograph is in the Fellows' Album. Pub

Gazetted Assistant Surgeon to the 1st Foot Guards on December 25th, 1813, being present with his regiment at Waterloo. Practised at Turnham Green, Middlesex (Leigh & Son, Annandale House). At the time of his death he was Surgeon to the Chiswick Dispensary. He died on May 8th, 1876.

Practised in the Corn Market, Pontefract. He resided latterly at Friar-wood Villa and died on October 11th, 1891.

Practised at Chaddesley-Corbett, Kidderminster, Worcestershire, later at 41 Brunswick Street, Leamington. He was at one time Surgeon Major in the Militia, and died in or before 1890.

Educated at St Thomas's Hospital. He practised at 1 Millbrook Place, Harrington Square, NW, and died there on June 5th, 1866.

He died at his residence, Byrom House, 23 Quay Street, Manchester, on January 20th, 1883
