Studied at St Thomas's Hospital, and practised at 40 Quay Street, Newport, Isle of Wight. He was Surgeon to the Royal Isle of Wight Infirmary, to Parkhurst Prison, and to the Isle of Wight Artillery Regiment of Militia. In 1859 he was elected an Alderman of the Borough. He died on October 7th, 1886.
