Ken Hulbert was a consultant orthopaedic surgeon at Dartford, Sydenham Children’s Hospital and Chailey Heritage Hospital. He was born on 24 December 1912, the son of a Methodist minister, and was educated at Kingswood School, Bath. He went on to Middlesex Hospital to study medicine.
