Educated at University College and at Westminster Hospital. He was Hon Surgeon of the Royal Masonic Girls’ School, and a Fellow of the Medical Society of London. He practised at 7 Argyll Place, Regent Street, W, and died there on July 23rd, 1873.

For a time he practised at 1 Montagu Street, Portman Square, London, where he was Surgeon in Ordinary to the Ottoman Embassy Resident in London. Practised later at 7 Boyne Terrace, Notting Hill, London, where he died on Feb 25th, 1891.
