Educated at Guy's Hospital, where his career was one of distinction. He won the Gold Medal in Clinical Surgery in 1867, was House Surgeon in 1869 and House Physician in 1870. He was for a time Health Officer of the Port of Rangoon, and on his return to England practised at 9 St James's Street, New C

Was practising in 1870 at Tavistock Row, Covent Garden, and in 1871 at 149 Camden Road, London, apparently dying in that year or the next. Publication:- *Six Months amongst the Charities of Europe*, 2 vols., 8vo, London, 1865.
