Born on 2 October 1898 he was gazetted as a Lieutenant in the Indian Medical Service on 20 May 1925, and was promoted Captain in 1928 and ultimately Lieutenant-Colonel. He served on the staff of King George's Medical College, Lucknow, and afterwards at Delhi. He died in October 1955.
