Born on October 6th, 1807, and was for twelve months from February 4th, 1829, a pupil of Sir Benjamin Brodie’s at St George’s Hospital. He served as surgeon’s mate on board the *Vansittart* (1830-1831) and as surgeon on board the *Prince Regent* (1832-1833). He entered the Bombay Army as Assistant

Son of Robert Bloxham (qv). Educated at St George’s Hospital, and assisted his father at Newport, Isle of Wight. In later life he practised at Ryde, where he was Surgeon to the Royal Infirmary. He died at Ryde January 10th, 1868.

After studying at St Bartholomew's Hospital and in Paris, practised in Guilford Street, Bloomsbury, and was Medical Officer attending the Foundling Hospital. He retired to 12 Onslow Gardens, Brompton, and died in 1869.

William Edmund Image, born in 1807, of French Huguenot extraction, was apprenticed to John Greene Crosse of Norwich, then studied at Guy's Hospital and in Paris, where he graduated Bachelier ès Lettres. Was chiefly educated at Guy's and St Thomas's Hospitals. He practiced throughout his life at 3 Nelson Street, Hull (known latterly as Nelson Avenue), and was at one time Surgeon to the Police and Workhouse, and at a later date District Vaccinator.
