Practised at 14 Bow Lane, City of London. He was Surgeon to the Royal Maternity Charity, later Referee to the Universal Provident Life Assurance Society. He died on August 29th, 1860.

Born at Rochester, where his father practised as a surgeon for many years, and studied at St Bartholomew's Hospital. After qualifying he was Assistant to Harrison, of Greenwich. He then practised for thirty years at Banbury, Oxfordshire, winning esteem and confidence both of patients and colleagues.
