Practised at 9 Upper Seymour Street, then at 6 Stanhope Place, Hyde Park, and later at 16 Great Cumberland Place, West London. He was for a time a member of the Erectheum Club, St James's Square, and he died at Ramsgate on December 8th, 1877. His portrait is in the Fellows' Album.

Studied at St Bartholomew's Hospital and at the Aldersgate School of Medicine. He practised first at Dowlais, Glamorganshire, where he was Surgeon to the Ironworks, next at Cardiff, and then at Montague House, Grosvenor, Bath, where he died on March 14th, 1881.
