Born at Oundle, Northamptonshire, the son of John Mould, in medical practice, who died whilst his son was a child. Studied at University College Hospital. He practised at Staunton-on-Wye, Herefordshire, where he was Surgeon to the Jarvis Dispensary and Medical Officer to the Wyeside District of the Weobley Union. He died at Staunton-on-Wye on February 5th, 1882. He married Caroline, daughter of Admiral Bennett;
