Born about 1880 he was educated at Charing Cross Hospital, where he won the Huxley and Pereira scholarships, and was demonstrator of anatomy in the medical school and clinical assistant in the ophthalmic department. He emigrated to New Zealand and practised at Queen Street, Waimate, South Canterb
