Details:
Peter Harold Edwin Courtenay was a consultant surgeon in British Columbia, Canada. He was born in London on 5 June 1928, the only child of Harold Edwin Courtenay and Annie Lillian Courtenay née Currie. He studied medicine in London and qualified in 1951. He gained his FRCS in 1957.
In 1955 he married Alison Margaret Pepys in Surrey. They had four children – Stephen Harold Pepys, Simon Charles, Michael Peter and Ann Elizabeth.
Courtenay died on 3 May 2017 in Sidney, British Columbia. He was 88.
