Mahmud Butt was a general surgeon who qualified MB, BS in the Punjab in 1955. He became a fellow of the College in 1977. Sadly little is known of his surgical career apart from the fact that he worked at the Royal Infirmary, Huddersfield in the 1980's. He was living in Leeds when he died on 16 March

Okon Osung was a surgeon at Neath General Hospital in Wales. He had previously worked at the Morriston Hospital in Swansea. Of Nigerian origin he was found dead in his flat in Neath on 9 July 2008. He was 65 years old and was survived by three children from whom he was estranged.
