Educated at University College Hospital. He practised at Durham in partnership with Thomas Walter Barron, MA Cantab, MRCS, was Surgeon to the Durham County Hospital, and Medical Officer of Health to the Durham Union District. He died at 50 Old Eivet, Durham, on July 21st, 1884.
