Practised at Spilsby, Lincolnshire, where he was Surgeon to the Union and Medical Officer to the Eastern District of the same. He practised in Spilsby for sixty years, and celebrated his eightieth birthday, amid universal respect, a month before his death on March 7th, 1898.
